Conscientious to a fault, he arrived early, worked all day without a break despite many invites to come in for a coffee/tea. Replaced many tiles that required it, rebedded everything (hips & ridges), pointing, hi-pressure cleaning, sealing, painting. Crappy weather meant having to do this in many stages over several days, but he did it all without complaint.
